Asian Trails
OVERVIEW
_________________________________________
The Asian Trails vision was first conceived in 1999 by Luzi Matzig,
today’s CEO. The companywas co-founded by Laurent Kuenzle, Jacques Guichandut and Roger Haumueller and commenced operations on September 09, 1999. (9-9-99 is considered a very lucky date). Asian Trails companies have established a network which covers all major Asian tourist destinations, with offices in all strategic inbound tourism centres throughout South East Asia.
As the handling agent for major international tour operators such as the Kuoni Travel Group, Asian Trails provides quality destination services to multi-lingual clients at competitive rates. In September 2006, Kuoni Travel Ltd. became a majority shareholder of the company. Asian Trails’ existing management structure was integrated into the Kuoni Destination Management structure. Australian Tours Management was acquired in November 2008 and reports to Asian Trails.
